AMERICA'S DRUG PREVENTION NETWORK, INC. JOINS FORCES WITH WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY TO FIGHT TERRORISM BY REDUCING DRUG USE BY TEENS.
Kids Against Drugs Campaign For A Drug-Free America Dedicated to Teaching Parents About Recreational Drug Use, Then They Teach Their Own Children How To Resist Drugs.
Mesa, AZ – The war against terrorism recently took an interesting turn when President George W. Bush encouraged parents to learn all they can about drugs and teach their own children to stop buying drugs. He said, "Illegal drug sales in this country is one of the major sources of money that funds terrorism worldwide". Michael Meredith, President of America's Drug Prevention Network, Inc., today announced they would join forces with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy's effort to significantly reduce youth drug use in the United States.
The White House National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign recently launched a media blitz with ads, stories and interviews focusing on the link between terrorism and illegal drug-use. This Campaign mainly targets middle and high-school-age adolescents (approximately 11 to 18 years old), along with their parents and primary caregivers.
Meredith has launched the "Kids Against Drugs Campaign For A Drug-Free America". "Building on the momentum generated by the White House ad campaign, we will focus on teaching parents about the issue of drug use in America," he said. "Our efforts will reinforce the message of those ads and will provide a much needed resource for parents.
Meredith, who created the "Identi-Child I.D. & Fingerprinting" system 20 years ago, went on to explain he has developed a proven method of common prevention techniques in an easy-to-use and understand format. This is called the "Kids Against Drugs Family Action Training Plan" and it contains the information and prevention techniques parents need to learn so they can teach their own kids the dangers of recreational drug use. Families of all ages will have fun learning these practical life-saving prevention skills in their own home.
In 1989 Meredith said, "When we don't teach children the truth about drugs and proclaim strong anti-drug messages in our homes and communities a terrible thing happens, our kids get hooked on drugs." Today he says, "Using the "Kids Against Drugs Family Action Training Plan" in the home is commonsense prevention and makes kids the winners in the war against recreational drug use. They literally become Kids Against Drugs and will have learned the know-how to make it stick. When Kids Against Drugs don't buy recreational drugs they help reduce the amount of money available for the terrorists and their activities".
